Melissa Shorey began her real estate career in 1991 at CB Richard Ellis in Sacramento.  As a Senior Real Estate Manager, she was responsible for overseeing a 2,000,000 square foot portfolio of office, industrial and retail buildings. During this time, Melissa has received many achievements, including CB Richard Ellis’ Asset Services Top Performer for 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003.

Melissa’s current portfolio includes a mix of industrial, retail and office buildings and associations.  She focuses her attention on the day-to-day functions of the buildings, budgeting, management plans, client and tenant relations, vendor coordination, tenant improvements as well as negotiations for tenant renewals and expansions.  A niche specialty for Melissa is managing associations.

In her many years in the real estate management field, she has been involved in new construction, completion of renovations of existing buildings, and leasing.

In addition to being a local and national member of IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management), Melissa has a California Broker’s License and holds the designations of CPM (Certified Property Manager) and CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member).
